Hidden Star Capital – Founder & Chairman
Mike Dewey is the Founder and Chairman of the Hidden Star Equity fund, which makes investments only in women owned and minority owned businesses. Since 2016, he is also the founder and President of Hidden Star Resources, a non-profit 501(c)(3) that helps minority and women entrepreneurs start and grow their own businesses.
Hidden Star is dedicated to the notion that America is better when there are more successful women and minority owned businesses.

A three-time successful entrepreneur and former private equity investor, Mike also serves as the CEO of New Leaf Staffing, LLC; a fast growing, unique provider in the $180 billion staffing industry. Since 2019, New Leaf has seen average annual growth of 232% and currently employs more than 600 people.
Prior to Hidden Star Resources he was the founder and President of FCPC Management, LLC, an operator of discount veterinary clinics across Texas. He exited FCPC in 2016, and subsequently formed Hidden Star. He served as the President and COO of Clearshot Capital Partners, LLC, a small generalist private equity firm / family office for seven years.
He has served in volunteer roles as a City Council member for West Lake Hills, Texas and as a Trustee / Chair of the Eanes Education Foundation.
